Margie Dawn Burman Of Hallstead, PA     Margie Dawn Truex Fiske Burman, 62 of Lackawanna Ave. Hallstead, PA passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 after an illness at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia, PA. Margie was born in Susquehanna, PA the daughter of the late Clair and Maxine (Stanton) Truex. She was predeceased by her first husband William (Billy) Wakeman Fiske III, her 3 sons, and her brother-in-law Philip Medlar. She was survived by her husband Roger Burman; 3 daughters and son-in-law’s Tonya and Larry Medlar, Teresa and Tom Ballard, and Tara and Tim Bedford; 7 grandchildren Brittany, Connor and Cooper Medlar, Stephanie and Ryan Ballard, and Tayla and TyAnn Bedford; her “adopted” daughter Gerry Hallisey; 4 sisters Linda Medlar, Judy (Richard) Welch, Loann (Ed) Seymour and Cherie (Randy) Conklin; 1 brother Tim (Robin) Truex; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Margie was a member of the American Legion. She loved to play games, work on puzzles and spend time with family and friends. She was full of heart and would do anything for anyone. She loved to make people laugh and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 11am, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. Kenneth Tapper officiating. Interment will be held in the McKune Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 6 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting “Teddy Bears.”
