Marian G. Tkaczuk, 72 of North Jackson, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Geisinger CMC Hospital in Scranton, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents Edward & Stella (Rawa) Tkaczuk; and sister Gerardine (Tkaczuk) Krishnan.

Marian is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Patricia (Rose) Tkaczuk; children Stephan (Megan) Tkaczuk, Heather Tkaczuk (Joesph), Patricia Tkaczuk (Michael); grandchildren Joseph, Lucille, and Jackson; siblings, Natalie (Matthew) and Edmund (Katherine); brothers-in-law Jim (Linda) and Walter; nieces and nephews.

Marian is an alumni of North Catholic High School of Philadelphia and a graduate of LaSalle University. He became a CPA and worked for the City of Philadelphia Controllers Office for 38 years until his retirement. Marian was also a professor of accounting and economics at Community College of Philadelphia. Later, he and his wife retired to their home in North Jackson, PA. He enjoyed fishing, watching Eagles football games and sitting on the porch playing with his dog Gus overlooking the beautiful landscape. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Marian will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11am.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, from 10am till 11am.

Funeral Mass will be held at The Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa 654 Ferry Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901 in the Cemetery Chapel on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10:00am with interment to follow.

The family will receive friends at the Chapel starting at 9:00am.
