Marie J. Delaney Of Thompson, PA   Marie Delaney, 81, of Thompson, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Forest City Nursing and Rehab Center. Marie was predeceased by her parents Thomas & Frances Brown; and her loving husband Thomas Delaney. She was survived by Children Thomas & Carol Delaney of Crescent City, FL, Michael & Sharon Delaney, Clinton, SC, James & Marel Delaney, Thompson, PA, Daniel Delaney (Shirley), Conklin NY, and David & Virginia Delaney, Ararat, PA; grandchildren Brian, Jimmy, Keith, Johnny, Jeffrey, Mindy, Christopher, Timothy, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Shawn and Ricky; and five great grandchildren. Marie loved to sit outside and watch the deer, and bears. She loved to read and was an avid painter, painting things from ceramics to coloring books. She did have her own Ceramics' shop both in Susquehanna and Thompson at one time. She absolutely loved getting visits from family and would crochet her children and grandchildren scarf's, and blankets, that always seemed to keep everyone warm. She had a long life full of joy but knew when it was time to go, she always talked about walking with "Daddy" again most of the time when she would talk about the past,  and watching over her family. She was into angels and Elvis Presley like there was nothing else in the world. May God hold our "Angel"  and may she and Dad  (Grandpa) enjoy eternity living together in the great beyond. Walking, talking and Laughing at some of the stuff they used to do. Your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs, today and tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love and cherish you. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA with Pastor Kevin Setzer officiating. Interment will be held in the Brandt Cemetery, Brandt, PA The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 1 to 3pm.
