Marie Dora Schmierer Of Deposit, NY Marie D. Schmierer, 82 of Loomis Hill Road, Deposit, NY passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. She was predeceased by her husband William C. Schmierer and parents Dominic & Virginia Matarese, and brother Billy Schmierer. Marie is survived by her 2 children, Patricia Dudley of Coram, NY and Ernest Schmierer of Sidney, NY; daughters-in-law Beth Schmierer and Tina Schmierer; sisters Frances Rowe, Virginia Gula, & Eva Jones; brothers, Dominic Matarese and Richard Busarto; well as 14 grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Marie was a loving mother as well as a great grandmother to all her children. She enjoyed going on family trips as well as family gatherings. Marie also had a good heart always helping other when they were in need. All that knew her considered her a second mother. There was a strict side everyone knew, but she also had a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 5pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 3 to 5pm.
