Marilyn Gorton Of Susquehanna, PA       Marilyn Gorton, 74 of Susquehanna, PA passed away peacefully at Regional Hospital of Scranton on Wednesday September 19, 2018. Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years William “Bill” Gorton; parents “Cubby” & Romayne Osterhout; and brothers Dick and Bob Osterhout. Surviving are her brother Ronald Osterhout; sons Carl & Kelli Gorton, and Charles “Chuck” Gorton; grandchildren Ashleigh and Shelbie Gorton, Twins Amber and Derik Gorton, step granddaughters Summer & Cassie Monta; and one great grandchild Joseph Dryden III; sisters in law Jerry Osterhout, Barbara Osterhout, Patricia Nagle Osterhout, Vivian Gorton and Carol Gorton; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends. Marilyn was a very sweet and gently soul and a very proud grandmother. She was a devoted Christian and always placed everyone else’s needs before her own. She was a graduate of Susquehanna Community High School. This very special woman will be greatly missed by her family and friends. At her request there will be no services.
