Marjorie Wescott, 86, of Kirkwood, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents Francis & Jeanette (Holbrook) Potter; three brothers Francis Potter Jr., Stewart Potter, and Robert Potter; two sisters Janet Grasso and Linda Seeley.

Marjorie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David Wescott and Michael & Deborah Wescott; grandchildren Jessica & Scott Rosner, Jeremy Wescott, Kaylee Wescott (Brandon Williams) Doug & Glenda Kisner, Chris Wescott, Casi & Bob Reddon Jr., great grandchildren Zachary, Allison, Jase, Kori, and Kelce; sisters Evelyn Gerchman and Twila Williams; several nieces and nephews.

Majorie was born in Thompson, PA, and raised on the family farm. She worked Rotorcast and Felchars until her retirement. After she retired, she worked part time at Kmart in Binghamton. She enjoyed bowling, puzzles and crocheting. Marjorie fought a courageous battle with cancer and was able to beat it twice. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held in Gelatt Cemetery, Gelatt, PA, at a later date.
