Mark MatisOf Susquehanna, PA    Mark Matis, 59, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Mark is survived by his mother, Frances; sisters Elizabeth Tingley (Terry), of Susquehanna, PA and Margaret Pitsko (John), of Nazareth, PA; and his brothers, Joseph Matis (Kathryn) and Matthew Matis, all of Susquehanna, PA. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Julie Beard, Michael Matis, Ellen Matis, Ryan Pitsko, Leigh Pitsko, Regan Tingley, and Jordan Tingley as well as his great-nieces and -nephews Maura Beard, Evan Beard, Lilliana Matis, and Matthew Matis. He was predeceased by his father, Michael J. Matis. Mark was a dedicated employee for many years at Varsity Manufacturing and St. John’s Church. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA.
