Martin “Marty” Petroski, 72, of Jackson, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents Martin & Helen Petroski Sr., brother Thomas Petroski Sr.

Marty is survived by his niece April & Eric Fisk along with their children Eric Jr. and Bella; nephew Thomas and his partner Christa along with their children Wyatt and Winter; as well as many relatives and friends in the area.

Marty was born in Susquehanna, PA, on February 26, 1953, and graduated from Mountain View High School. After graduation he attend Penn State University where he earned his degree Agriculture and Business. After college Marty returned to the family dairy farm which he was currently still operating. He was a lifetime member of St. Martin of Tour’s Roman Catholic Church in Jackson, PA. During his tenure with the Church, he served in many capacities and was dedicated, hardworking and conscientious of his strong faith. He was also a member of the local 4H. Marty was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting with his family and friends. He was truly “one of a kind”, he was a very generous person with a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10am at St. Martin of Tour’s Church 8174 State Route 92, Jackson, PA.

The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm.

Interment will follow the Mass in Lamb’s Cemetery, Jackson, PA.
