Mary Jane Grausgruber

July 24, 1947 — September 6, 2024

Mary Jane Grausgruber

Of Susquehanna, PA

Mary Jane Grausgruber, of Susquehanna PA, passed away at her home on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her parents Anna and George Lesso Jr., her four brothers Bobby, George, William and Frank Lesso and most recently her beloved sister Patricia Lasicki.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Ernie Grausgruber; her three daughters Anne Marie (Kyle Cook), Kristen (TJ Heller) and Jennifer Nitterour; seven grandchildren Anthony, Piper, Owen, Asher, Audrey, Jase, and Katie, several nieces and nephews, including special niece Kathy Lasicki.

She was born in Binghamton, NY on July 24, 1947. She attended Binghamton Central High School and following high school worked for Marine Midland Bank. It was there she met a friend who eventually introduced her to her future husband Ernie. Together they raised three tough, strong, intelligent, daughters, who- despite the daughters saying it would never happen-are a lot like their mother.  Mary Jane loved her family beyond measure. There was nothing she enjoyed more than a visit from her grandchildren. She was fortunate enough to live close to them and have them be a part of her daily life. All of us who loved her will miss her calls, texts, repeated stories, and weather reports on a snowy day.

There will be no calling hours, however, a Funeral Mass will be offered at St.    John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA on Friday, September 13th at 10:00 am.
