Mary Lou ButtsOf Susquehanna, PA  Mary Lou Butts, 77, of Franklin Ave. Susquehanna, PA passed away at her home on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on October 2, 1940 the daughter of the late Louie and Florence Haynes. She was predeceased by her husband’s Howard and Edward Butts; sisters Gladys, Arlene, Emma, and Jean; brothers William and Pete. Mary Lou was survived by her two sons Daniel Butts and Howard Butts Jr.; step sons Tom and Ruth Butts and Jeff and Mary Butts; step daughters Geri and Doc Lake and Linda and Doug Evans; eight grandchildren Daniel, Chrissy, Stephanie, Jennifer, Courtney, William, Samantha and James; many great grandchildren; and special friend Janet Denney. Mary Lou was a devoted employee of Rotorcast in Lanesboro, PA for 57 years. She was a mom to so many kids throughout her life and a mentor to several people. Mary Lou always had time for and was willing to help others. She enjoyed bowling and reading. As she aged she loved her little dogs, especially Rocky. “She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. “ A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
