Mary Elizabeth Plutino

  Mary Elizabeth Plutino Of Susquehanna, PA     Mary Elizabeth Plutino, a longtime resident of the Susquehanna area, passed away Thursday the 7th of April at her home in Allen, Texas. She had been predeceased by her husband, Joseph Nicholas Plutino and her grandson Joseph Lee Plutino. Mary is survived by her six children (Mary Jo Bongiorno, Amy Plutino, Diana Abbott, Beth Gilleran, Paul Plutino, and Charles Plutino), nine grandchildren (Geno Plutino, Nicholas De Zamacona, Matthew Garcia, Daniel Abbott, Dana Houck, Katherine Abbott, Christina Houck, Lindsey Abbott, and Jessica Plutino), and three great-grandchildren (Braydin Garcia, Matthew Garcia, and Nicholas De Zamacona). Mary was a kind and generous child of the Lord, and she was a tremendous Chicago Cubs fan. While living in Susquehanna, Mary frequently attended the First Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 10am at the First Baptist Church in Susquehanna, PA, with Pastor Gary Day officiating. Interment will be held in the St. John’s Cemetery directly following the service. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
