Mason R. Evans Of Susquehanna, PA    Mason R. Evans, 78, of Susquehanna, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents Cradoc and Naomi (Phelps) Evans and several brothers and sisters. Mason leaves behind his wife of 8 years Sue Rhone Evans; step-sons and wives Christopher & Amber Lynch of Athens, PA, and Stephen & Cyndi Lynch of Goodyear, AR; seven grandchildren Nick, Aidan, Madeleine, Elizabeth, Reagan, Katelyn, and Nicholas; sisters Lois Schrader, Rhoda Munson, Helen Evans and Margaret & Lewis Lamb; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mason worked 33 years for PennDOT from which he retired in 2001. Per his request there will be a private family celebration of life at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, PA. Interment will be held in the Starrucca Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
