Michael Alan Whitmore Of Susquehanna, Pa. Michael Alan Whitemaor,57, of Susquehanna, Pa. passed away Wednesday July 20, 2011 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, Pa. after an illness. Michael was born in Susquehanna the son of the late Donald & Ruth (June) Whitmore. He is survived by his wife Linda (Harvey) Whitmore; two sons and one daughter-in-law Mickey & Dawn Whitmore, Franklin, MA; William Whitmore, Vestal, NY; two daughters Melody Whitmore, Binghamton, NY; Tammy Whitmore & fiancé Robert Smolinsky, Conklin, NY; two brothers and sister-in-law Donald Whitmore; John & Cheri Whitmore; three grandchildren Geniviene Whitmore; Trinity Whitmore; Gavin Whitmore; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of the Lanesboro Community Church of Lanesboro, Pa. Mike loved the Erie Lackawanna Railroad and spent many hours with his HO gauge layout train collection. He graduated from the Susquehanna Community High School, Keystone College and Wilkes University. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 23rd at 11:00am at the Lanesboro Community Church in Lanesboro, Pa. with Rev. Carl Batzel officiating.
