Michelle D. Murphy Of Deposit, NY On the morning of June 24, 2021 heaven gained another angel; and another family a great loss. Michelle Dezera Murphy, only age 38, passed away that morning peacefully, from congestive heart failure. Michelle was born on June 9, 1983 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY. Daughter to Rebecka Schmitt (Dennis Lynch) and Michael Schmitt (Tammy). She married Joseph Paul Murphy on April 2, 2003 and had a long marriage that lasted 19 years. In that time, they had and raised three children together, Brooke Murphy, Brittany Murphy and Dameon Murphy. Although she wasn’t her child, she loved Isabella Hubbs like one of her own. Michelle was the youngest sister of three; her two sisters were Kashawna Bartholomew and Amber Schmitt. Michelle loved their children as well; her nieces and nephews. She was a very down to earth woman who loved being outside, organizing, cleaning and reading books. However, her most joyous moments were being a mom. It put big smile on her face. Michelle went to nursing school in Delhi and worked at several nursing homes from Sidney to Binghamton. She also became a Home Health Aide for countless years; which was her favorite job. Michelle’s most amazing trait was her desire to help people, no matter what they needed. She is truly missed. “Love you to the Moon and back.”
