Nancy L. Boughton, 65 of Susquehanna, PA passed away peacefully on March 2, 2024.  Nancy was predeceased by her husband Jeffery Boughton, her parents, Edward & Marjorie (Hillis) Wood, her brother Marty Wood, and her mother and father in-law Clyde & Doris (Limbert) Boughton.  She is survived first by her dog Lucy Ann.  Her children and their spouses Christi & Peter Farrar, Julie & Peter Rowe, and Mitch & Nancy E. Boughton, 8 grandchildren, Liam, Rowan, Adelyn, Logan, Stella, Porter, Sylvia, and Julian, her sister and brother-in-law Diane & Arnold Terpstra, nieces Jessica Dubanowitz, Leann Terpstra, and nephew William Terpstra.

Nancy had an integral part in the creation of a successful family business, Boughton’s Auto Salvage.  Her smiling face will be missed by many on her walks through town, cheering her grandkids on at sporting events, and at all the local events geared towards enriching the lives of children.  She enjoyed yard work, baking, and cross-stitching.

Above all, Nancy was fiercely devoted to ensuring the well-being of her family and friends.  She was simply the most wonderful person and she will be forever and deeply missed.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday March 9th at 2pm at St. John’s Catholic Church in Susquehanna, PA.  Family will receive friends at Hennessy’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, PA on Friday March 8th from 5-8pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Susquehanna Branch Library or the Susquehanna Community Development Association.
