Nancy Passetti, passed away quietly surrounded by her family on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was a devoted mother, wife and friend. She was the ultimate hostess, a lover of all exotic foods, avid traveler, magnificent cook and expert knitter.

Nancy was born Ulbosri Boontiem in Nakor Phanom Thailand. After many adventures in travel, she settled in Susquehanna and married the love of her life, Robert Passetti. Nancy spent the last 40 years devoted to their marriage and a life in Susquehanna Pennsylvania, where she introduced the art of cooking Thai foods to friends and family alike.

Nancy worked as a clerk in the pharmacy at Barnes Memorial Hospital from where she retired. Nancy then committed herself to her large garden of exotic vegetable and peppers and traveled to many different parts of the world to visit her daughter and her family during their time in the Air Force. She was devoted to her dogs and knitted sweaters that she donated to charity.

She is survived by her husband Robert Passetti; children Jim Passetti, Frank Passetti, Barbara Larsen, her late daughter Pook Standsfield, Puna Miller and Peck Milbauer; grandchildren Christopher, Benjamin, Abraham, Santina, Victoria, Justin, Dylan, Lauren, Christian, Tami, Bobby, Bailey, Kino, Harmon, Ian, Mara and Chloe. She was blessed with a multitude of great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at St John Parish Hall 15 East Church St. Susquehanna, PA 18847. Visitation is on March 11, 2023, at 1pm followed by the service at 2pm and repast at 3pm.
