Nora Faye Swan, 70, of Starrucca, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, in Honesdale, PA.

She was predeceased by her parents Linford & Rose Mary (Whitmore) Travis; sister and brother-in-law Dora Mae and Hank Bricky.

Nora is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Clayton W. Swan Sr.; son Clayton W. Swan Jr. and Dwayne Anthony Swan; sisters Patricia Weibel, Mary Lou Wickersham, and Pauline Rudock; sister-in-law Jenny Carter; brother-in-law Frank Hill, and Leslie & Isabelle Swan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nora was born on December 11, 1952, in Susquehanna, PA. She graduated from Cleveland School for Girls. After school she married her husband Clayton and traveled with him while he was in the military. She enjoyed the outdoors, including camping. Nora was an avid card player, and enjoyed playing and teaching her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 12:00pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

Interment will be in the Shehawken Cemetery, Shehawken, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 11am till Noon.
