Patricia J. Knowles, 85, of Deposit, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Teresa Kushka; and son Edwin Slavin.

Patricia is survived by her children Lou Slavin, Chris Slavin, Robert Slavin, Theresa Slavin, Rudayna & Paul Campo, Robert Knowles Jr.; adopted children Doris, Lynnann, Jessica, and Annette; 17 grandchildren including Roxanne and Kimberly whom she shared a special bond with, 13 great grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law Edwin & Cathy Espisito.

Patricia was born on June 29, 1937, in Great Neck Plaza, NY. She grew up on Long Island, NY and then moved to Deposit, NY. She took care of over 300 children between working with the State, for disabled, foster care, and juveniles. Patricia loved taking care of people. Family was her most prized possession. She loved singing fun wacky songs with the kids. Patricia was a glass half full kind of person and always looked at the positive. She will be dearly missed by all her loving family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, NY.
