Patrick J. Brown, Sr. 77, of Deposit, NY, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at his home.

He was predeceased by his parents Todd Clapper and Corabell Brown; daughter Sara Bell Quattrocchi; and brother John Brown.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Carolyn “Dolly” Brown; sons Patrick Brown Jr. and Maurice Brown; sister Ruth Brown; grandchildren Jamie, Maurice, Miranda (Dane), Patrick III, Lillian (Jarrett), Emily, and Steven (Faith); great grandchildren Carter, Juniper Willow, Colson, Kyler, Juniper Rose, and Scarlett; his companion Lucky; and many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was born in Gulf Summit, NY on January 18, 1947. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969. Patrick worked as a foreman for the Village of Deposit DPW and after retiring he became a stone cutter for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Patrick will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from Noon till 2pm.

Interment in the Hale Eddy Cemetery will take place at a later date.
