Paul J. Britten, of Thompson, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents Paul & Ida (Johnstone) Britten.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Rhaylene (Pickering) Britten; stepchildren Brian (Heather) Wallace; Chad (Kim) Wallace; and Shannon (Robert) Wells and step grandchildren Nathan, Darren, Stephanie, Russell and Cheyann, Josiah, Zeke, Alexis, Zoe, and Serenity.

Paul was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on May 31, 1946. He graduated from Kings College with a master’s degree in education and minor Foreign Languages. Paul taught Spanish and French at Susquehanna Community High School for 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and bowling and belonged to several local leagues throughout the years. Paul was a member of the North Jackson Community Church. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Noon at North Jackson Community Church, 976 Deer Ridge Road, Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10am till Noon.

Interment will be in the North Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, PA.
