Paul Laurence Colwell Of Windsor, NY Paul Laurence Colwell, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gloria, 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen & Anita Colwell; Laurence and Donna Colwell; Alan and Janelle Colwell; daughter and son-in-law Sylvia and Richard Churchward, and daughter Diane Colwell; 8 grandchildren: Kathryn and Dan Thompson, Marsha and Matthew Slaten, Paul and Audrey Churchward, Laura Churchward, Craig and Nicole Colwell, Alex and Heather Colwell, Leigh and Joshua Presley, and Samantha Colwell; his great-grandchildren Kamryn, Logan, London, Brooklyn, Violet, Cassidy, Matthew, Joseph, and Caleb. He was predeceased by brothers Arlyn, Floyd, and Clifton. Paul served faithfully in various churches as deacon and Sunday School teacher. He and Gloria are currently members of the First Baptist Church in Susquehanna, PA. His family was extremely important to him. He loved when they gathered around the large picnic table on the patio for special occasions. He was a life-long dairy farmer and enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015, at 2:30pm, at the First Baptist Church, Susquehanna, PA. Interment will directly follow in the South Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, NY. The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 12:30 to 2:30pm. Arrangements were made through Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Susquehanna, PA.
