Paul Stuart Corse Sr., 78, of Lanesboro, PA passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Paul was predeceased by his son Paul Stuart Corse Jr., his parents Clarence and Anna Corse, his sister Sharon Holkerin, in-laws Charles and Freida Smith, brothers-in-law Sinon Smith and John Parks.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Catherine Corse, his furbabies Cain, Lucy, and

Buck; his son James Corse (Marge), his daughter Traci Fissel (Jason), daughter-in-law Theresa Corse; his grandchildren, Mandalyn, Mitchell, Oakley, Chelsea, Kendyll, Christopher, Teagan, and Torin; his great-grandchildren, Jaylyn, Wyatt, Zelda, Winstyn, Annalynn, and Jagger; sisters-in-law Jane Madigan (Tim) and Mary Parks, sister Sandy Bright, and brother-in-law Joel Holkerin, as well as several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

Paul was born on August 17,1948 in Susquehanna. He attended Susquehanna Community High

School and graduated in the class of 1966. Paul worked as a union carpenter for 52 years in the Scranton and Binghamton Carpenter’s Local. He also took great pride in his accomplishments in shooting competitions where he enjoyed putting his skills to the test alongside his family.

Paul loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. He loved exploring the country and had the opportunity to visit 46 of the 50 states. He also enjoyed cruises, and riding his motorcycle.

Above all, Paul loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always there to support them in everything they did and take part in the important moments of their lives. He cherished the time spent with his family and created countless memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6pm-8pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. There will be a private burial at a later date.

Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His love for the outdoors, his adventurous spirit, his pride in his work and accomplishments, and most importantly, his love for his family will be remembered and cherished forever.
