Paul Skasko

Paul Skasko Of Lanesboro, PA       Paul Skasko, 84, of Lanesboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA after an illness.   Paul was predeceased by his parents John and Anna (Fedak) Skasko; siblings, John, Joe, Willie, Nick, Steve, Anastacia, Mary and Julia.   He was survived by his loving wife June (Cook) Skasko; Daughters Tammy Sutton and Eric, and Tracy Haley and George; Step-Daughter Robin Truex and Tim; grandchildren, Cammie Truex and Tom, Sean Truex and Lisa, NiCole Walser and Mike, Robert D. Haley III and Jamie, and Brittany Barton and Jerry; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces of nephews and loving church family. Paul served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After his time in the service Paul worked as phlebotomist at the Barnes Kasson Hospital for several years before becoming a successful insurance agent for Western South Life Insurance Company. He was a devoted member and a Trustee Emeritus of the First Baptist Church in Susquehanna, PA. Paul will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.   A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 20th at 11am at the Susquehanna Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s Honor to the First Baptist Church in Susquehanna, PA.
