Peter P. Castro Of Sanford, NY   Peter P. Castro, 65, of Farnham Road in the town of Sanford, NY passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY after an illness. Peter was predeceased by his parents Pietro & Assunta (D’Ambrosio) Castro and sister Concetta Castro. He was survived by his loving wife of 44 years Ann (Hughes) Castro; children Robert & Christi Castro, Paul Castro, and Deborah Castro; brother Angelo Castro; grandchildren Tanner and Peyton Castro; Sister-in-law Maureen & Michael O’Rourke; Brothers-in-law Edward & Betsy Hughes and James & Darnetha Hughes;  and several nieces and nephews. Peter was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He worked for National Grid as a serviceman for 35 years until his retirement. Peter was always looked up to by his friends, family and co-workers for his ability to fix everything. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 98 2 nd St. Deposit, NY, on Monday, June 3 rd 2019 at 10am. The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 2 nd St. Deposit, NY on Sunday, June 2 nd , 2019 from 2 to 5pm.
