Phyllis L. French

Phyllis L. French Of Susquehanna, PA       Phyllis L. French passed away Friday, April 8th, after a 15 year battle with cancer.   She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Vivian Burdick and her loving husband Edgar S. French of 57 years.    Phyllis is survived by her loving family including two sons and a daughter-in-law; Michael and Joan French, Mark French; one daughter and a son-in-law Susan and Shawn Roy; five grandchildren and one grandson-in-law; John French, Krystal and Richard Hannigan, Tyler Petriello, Connor and Brody Roy; one great granddaughter; Scarlet Hannigan; three brothers and sisters-in-laws; Warren and Margaret Burdick, Gary and Joyce Burdick, Joseph and Cindy Burdick; one sister and brother-in-law Rosemary and Cleon Lloyd and many cousin, nieces and nephews.   Phyllis was co-owner of French's Auto, Inc. along with her husband for over fifty years.  She was a member of the Association of Notaries for over forty years.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star Gill chapter 12 for forty five years.   A Memorial Service will be at the First Baptist Church, 695 Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, PA on Saturday April 16th at 11am with Pastor Gary Day officiating.   Interment will be held directly following the Memorial Service at the North Jackson Cemetery, North Jackson, PA.    The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6 to 8pm.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of The Sacred Heart, 100 William St. Dunmore, PA.
