Priscilla J. Odell, 89, of Johnson City, NY, formerly of Deposit, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and Pastor on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Endicott, NY.

She was born on August 3, 1933, in Deposit, NY, to the late Olin & Marjorie (Whitaker) Hart.

She was predeceased by her husband Ivan E. Odell, and brother Olin Hart Jr.

Priscilla is survived by her children, Michael & Nancy Odell, Mark & Susan Odell, and Cathie & Michael Sanford; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and her little dog Buffy.

Priscilla was born and raised in Deposit, NY and graduated from Deposit Central High school. She married her husband Ivan on September 4, 1954. Priscilla worked at Bard Parker for 25 years. She was an active community member who was involved in several organizations. Priscilla was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Deposit, where she served in many capacities including the Ladies of the Church. She enjoyed watching her birds, especially Cardinals. Priscilla also enjoyed traveling and painting. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Deposit, 139 Second St. Deposit, NY, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 2pm.

Interment will be in the Hale Eddy Cemetery, Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from to 1pm till 2pm.
