Rachel M. Adornato

Rachel Adornato Of Susquehanna, PA       Rachel Adornato, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the age of 92 at the Barnes Kasson SNF in Susquehanna, PA. Rachel was preceded by her mother, Marina, her father Carmelo, and three brothers, Anthony, Francis, and Philip. She is survived by her one brother Joseph (Catherine) Adornato, and many nieces and nephews. Rachel was a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Susquehanna Fire Department Auxiliary. She was employed for many years at Reddon’s Drug Store where she retired and had many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11am, at the St. John’s Church in Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. David Cramer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 9 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John’s Church in Susquehanna, PA. Special thanks to the staff at the Barnes Kasson Hospital SNF for their excellent care.
