  Raymond L. KimbleOf Clarks Summit, PA Raymond L. Kimble, 83, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Commonwealth Hospice in Scranton, PA.  He resided in Clarks Summit, PA.He was predeceased by his son Jerry Kimble.He was the husband of Marina Dooley Kimble for nearly 60 years, he is also survived by his daughters Rayleen Beckwith, Clarks Summit, PA and Lori Lucero, Pueblo, CO, grandchildren Shayna and Keelin Beckwith, Ariel and Kyle Stewart, Jamie, Aaron and David Kimble and Vanessa Lucero, also 12 great grandchildren..He was a graduate of Thompson High School, Thompson, PA and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Mansfield State College, a Master’s Degree from the State University of New York, Cortland, and his Doctorate of Education from Arizona State University.He taught at Wichita State University; the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse and retired after 20 years from the University of Scranton.A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 4pm at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA.Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of the family.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4pm.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
