René Marie Fisk Of Jackson, PA Rene Marie Fisk of Jackson, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 55 years of age. Rene was born in Johnson City, NY and raised in Jackson, PA. She graduated from Blue Ridge High School in New Milford, PA. Rene was a beautiful and selfless woman and regularly placed her family and friend’s needs before her own. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandson. She always spoke about the voice messages her grandson would send that brightened her day and placed a smile on her face. Besides time with family and friends, Rene’s biggest passions were baking special sweet treats for family events or birthdays and crafting heartfelt gifts for holidays. Josh- “You were the most selfless and loving mom to Eric, Ashley, and I. You always had an ear to lend and shoulder to lean on. I will greatly miss our morning talks on my way to work. 55 is way too young to gain your wings. Until we meet again, fly high mom. I love you with all my heart and will always cherish all the memories with you.” Eric- “I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name, now all I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake which will never part. God has you in his keeping and I have you in my heart. I will always be your boy, love you mama.” Ashley- “You are the strongest woman I know and were always my rock. I am truly blessed that God chose you to be my mother because not a day goes by that I do not feel your unconditional love surrounding me. You never gave up on me and helped me more than you will ever know, and for that I am extremely grateful. This is not goodbye, rather a see you later. Know that your “beautiful princess” will forever love you.” Rose- “Thank you for everything you did. Now that you are gone, a piece of my heart is gone as well. You are deeply missed.” Rene was predeceased by her grandparents Doris (Ronald) Testa and Russell (Ethel) May; father Russell May Sr.; and long-time father figure Phil McDonald. She is survived by her mother Rose M. May; sons Joshua M. Fisk (Cheyanne) and Eric J. Fisk Sr. (April); daughter Ashley N. Fisk (Lee); grandchildren Eric J. Fisk Jr. and Bella Derr; brothers Randy May and Russell May; sister Robyn Welch; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved friends (including Becky, Chris, and Rod). A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 at 4pm at Lanesboro Community Center in Lanesboro, Pa.
