Richard Flanders, 81, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at his home.

He was predeceased by his parents Richard & Cora Flanders and sister Vicki Ryan.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Freida Gulley Flanders; children Jason Reed, Randy & Amy Reed, and JoAnn Reed; sisters and brothers-in-law Sue & Bill, Diane & Don, Sandy & Howard, and Kathy & Tim; one brother and sister-in-law Michael & Victoria; grandchildren, Bailey, Hallie, Alden, Marcus, Taylor, and Devon; great grandchildren William and Hazel; many nieces and nephews.

Richard was born in Albany, NY and moved to Sidney, NY where he graduated from High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he served from 1960 to 1966. After his military service he worked at BOCES and then at Schneider’s Market in Susquehanna, PA. Richard’s favorite pastime was gardening. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
