  Richard Dean Wheeler Of Susquehanna, PA     Richard Dean Wheeler, 69, of State Route 171, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Susquehanna, PA the son of the late Linus and Ruby Wheeler. He was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Alex and Marion Klym; two brothers John and Leon Wheeler; and two sisters Jean Gross and Josie Burdick. Richard is survived by his loving wife Diane Wheeler, of Susquehanna, PA; one son Scott Wheeler, of Honesdale, PA;  four daughters Nicole Wheeler and Jake Millard of Susquehanna, PA, Jennifer Wheeler and Jr. Westbrook of Montrose, PA, Amanda and Darren Roe, of Susquehanna, PA, and Alexis Wheeler of Susquehanna, PA; eight grandchildren, Josh Wheeler, Erin Millard, Andrea Westbrook, Mackenzie Roe, Leah Roe, Gabriel Morrison, Claragail Wheeler, and Kolby McGuire; two brothers Harold and Audrey Wheeler, of Susquehanna, PA, and Austin Wheeler of Susquehanna, PA; two sisters Mary Plutino of Susquehanna, PA, and Viola Allen of Johnson City, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was a self- employed carpenter; working throughout Susquehanna County for over 40 years until his retirement. He was a member of the “Handy Man Club of America” and the “North American Fishing Club.” Richard was a loving and caring father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 2 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
