Rikki Lynne Pearson age 57 of Thompson Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday January 18th, 2023. She was predeceased by her loving husband Phillip Buren, parents Ruth and Lee Slocum and Father Kenneth Brooking.

She is survived by her children Seth & Chelsea Pearson, Shaun Pearson, and Shaylynne Hubanks. Siblings Diana & Ronnie Smith, Lee Slocum II. Grandchildren Abilene & Stetson Pearson, and Trenten Pearson. She also had many aunts, nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members that she loved very deeply.

Rikki lived most of her young adulthood in the state of Texas where she raised her three children and had a rewarding career at the University of Texas Permian Basin. She eventually moved back to Pennsylvania so she could be closer to her parents and family.

She was a hardworking, real life “wonder woman” who would give her all for the ones she loved. Her most memorable career she held in the community was her many years with Barnes Kasson in the SNF department.

It was always apparent how much Rikki loved her family and her friends. She would always put the ones she loved at the forefront of her life. She had many friends from so many places and so many different walks of her life.

Rikki loved to tell stories, to laugh, to listen to music, to dance. Her children and grandchildren were always her world, and she will be dearly missed by everyone she met. We are all better for having had her in our lives and the void that we all feel could never be replaced.

As per her wishes there will be a ceremony at a later date for immediate family.
