Of North Adams, MA
Rita Emily Carr, 82, passed away on September 10, 2026, at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was born on March 12, 1944, in New York City, New York.
Rita will be remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother, and as a loving wife whose devotion to her family remained central throughout her life. She also leaves behind her children, son David Carr Jr., daughter Donna Boggus, daughter Tammy Carr, and son Michael Carr; seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren who will continue to carry her memory forward with love.
