Rita A. Dropp Of Susquehanna, Pa. Rita A. Dropp,87, of Susquehanna, Pa. passed away Sunday September 16, 2012 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital SNF in Susquehanna after an illness. She was born in Hornell, NY the daughter of the late Charles & Bessie (Clark) Harrington. She is predeceased by two sons Gerald Dropp and Thomas Dropp. Rita is survived by her loving husband Joseph T. Dropp; two sons and one daughter-in-law Joseph & Mary Dropp of Hornell; Michael Dropp of Cortland, NY; two daughters and one son-in-law Patty Dropp of Rochester, NY; Liz & Wes Ramsey of Youngsville, Pa.; three sisters Elaine Boelens of Ca.; Jean Knoblach of Fl.; Alicia Hallett of Ca.; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was a member of the St. John’s Church of Susquehanna. Rita was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday September 20th at 11am at St. Ann’s Church in Hornell, NY with Rev. Peter Anglaaere officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hornell, NY The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave Susquehanna, PA on Wednesday from 2 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Barnes Kasson Hospital SNF 2872 Turnpike St. Susquehanna, Pa. 18847.
