Robert J. Hoffmann

Robert J. Hoffmann of Susquehanna, PA     Robert J Hoffmann, 84 , of Susquehanna PA, was called home on November 5, 2019. Bob was born August 3, 1935 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Herman and Henrietta (Pape) Hoffmann. He is pre-deceased by three sisters and a brother.   He worked as a salesman for Standard Tube before starting his own steel tubing business. Bob enjoyed gardening, fishing and wildlife. He especially loved feeding the birds and the fish on Foxton Lake where he has resided for the past 34 years.   Bob is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years, Carol (Tschersich) Hoffmann. Six children, Debbie & husband Kent, Susan & John, Bobby & wife Lisa, Jeffrey & wife Janice, Steven & wife Steacy and Karen & husband Dan. He has 13 cherished grandchildren and 7 cherished great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.     In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Robert Hoffmann to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St Dunmore PA 18510   Services will be private.
