Robert A. Morris, 74 of Hallstead, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Mercy House in Endicott, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents William J. & Marion (Burkert) Morris; father and mother-in-law Albert W. & Louise (Hinkley) Kane; brother Rev. David B. Morris; brothers-in-law Thomas A. Kane and Melvin N. Darrow.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Marjorie (Kane) Morris; children Bryan & Sasha Morris of Endwell, NY, and Sean & Kristine Morris of Hallstead, PA; grandchildren Isabelle Morris, Jacob Morris, Ethan Morris, and Nathaniel Morris; brother William G. & Joann Morris, of Vass, N.C.; sisters-in-law Mary Morris, of Canton, PA and Patricia Darrow of Susquehanna, PA; nieces and nephews, Dale Morris, Douglas & Patty Morris, Susan & Stan Eury, Matthew & Christina Morris, Jared Morris, Emily & Timothy Eckert, Mary Darrow, and Kathleen & Robert Hilling; many extended family members and close family friends; and very special little girlfriend Lilly Kup Kake.

Robert graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1965. After High School he attended Bloomsburg and Shippensburg Universities. He also served 13 years in the United States Army Reserves. Robert worked at IBM in Endicott for several years until his retirement. He also served many years on the Blue Ridge School Board. Robert’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. B. Patel, Dr. Daniel Coster, Barnes Kasson Hospital Staff and Compassionate Care Hospice for their care of Robert.

Also thank you to Lourdes Hospice and the Mercy House for their Compassionate care and love shown to Robert and his family throughout his stay.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11am Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10am to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mercy House, 212 McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY.
