Robert E. Whitmore Jr. Of Susquehanna, PA Robert E. Whitmore Jr. 93, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA. He was predeceased by his parents Robert E. & Unis (Smith) Whitmore Sr.; beloved wife Laura; daughter Roxanne Whitmore Weibel Acquisto; and sisters Louelle Wheeler and Polly Hobart. Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sandy & Leslie (Stan) Upright; grandchildren Todd & Becky Upright, Tamara & John Regard, and Aubrey Wiebel; great granddaughters Meghan and Kailey Regard, Brook and Brandi Upright and Desiree Upright; sister Lea Shanley and many nieces and nephews. Robert and his wife Laura owned and operated the “Frosty Freeze” on SR 171 for over 20 years. He also worked on the railroad until his retirement. Robert served in the US Army during WWII. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Robert was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed. At Robert’s request there will be no funeral services. The family would like to thank Dr. B.
