Roger L. Burman Of Oakland, PA       Roger L. Burman, 60 of State St. Oakland, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his home. Roger was predeceased by his wife Margie (Truex) Burman; and his parents Edward & Mildred Burman. He was survived by his 7 brothers and 1 sister Raymond & Miko Hankey, David & Gail Hankey, Barb and Rick Welch, Bruce & Phyllis Burman, Howard & Angie Burman, Duane & Yolly Burman, Barry & Tammie Burman, and Brian Burman & Beverly Smith; also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Roger was a Stone Cutter who worked in the Pennsylvania Blue Stone industry since 1988 until his retirement. He worked for several quarries throughout the local Susquehanna area. Roger was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and was still eager to be out even after he had to have one of his legs amputated. He loved his dogs and family who will all miss him dearly. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. Interment will be held in the Ararat Cemetery, Ararat, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 4 to 6pm.
