Ronald E. Wasko Of Thompson, PA Ronald E. Wasko, 61 of Thompson, PA passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents John & Eileen Wasko and sister Audrey Maffett. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Deanna (Slocum) Wasko; children Cameron and Jocelyn Wasko; granddaughter Harper Wasko; sister Lori Wasko and Rex Kelsey; father and mother-in-law Duane & Rita Slocum; brother-in-law Wayne & Kireen Slocum; as well as many nieces and a nephew. Ronald graduated from Susquehanna Community High School in 1979. He worked in the maintenance department at the Susquehanna Community School District for 38 years until he retired three years ago. Ronald was always friends with everyone at work and in the community. Ronald would always be the first one to lend a helping hand and take care of others before himself. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. Ronald’s greatest love was his family including his two children Cameron and Jocelyn who he cherished very much. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 5pm, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 3pm to 5pm.
