Rosalind Felicia Devries

Rosalind F. DeVries of Oakland, PA Rosalind F. DeVries, 53 of Oakland, PA passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents James & Helen (Zayas) Thompson. Rosalind is survived by her loving husband Christopher F. DeVries Sr.; sons Christopher F. DeVries Jr., Austin DeVries, and Casey DeVries; daughter Emily DeVries; brothers Luis, David, Bobby, James and many other; sisters Patricia, Johanna, Gina, Carmen and many others; grandchildren Damian, Scarlett and Aiden, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosalind enjoyed the outdoors, camping, gardening, knitting and visits to the ocean. Most important to her though was her family who will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 6pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 5 to 6pm.
