Roy Spencer 68, of Kirkwood, NY, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

He was predeceased by his father Woodrow Purchell.

Roy is survived by his mother Audrey Day; children Nathanial Spencer, Roy Spencer Jr., Jennifer Greenman, and Alysa Spencer; sister Glenda Butts; three grandchildren, Amelia Greenman, Silas Greenman, and Bella Spencer; many nieces and nephews.

Roy worked at Felchar’s Manufacturing in Binghamton, NY for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and model airplanes. Roy also collected Native American artifacts. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 9am at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 6 to 8pm.
