Roy Spencer, 35 of Binghamton, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

He was predeceased by his father Roy Everett Spencer; grandparents Betty Twitchell and Joyce Twitchell.

Roy is survived by his mother Kathleen Twitchell-Spencer; siblings Jennifer & David Greenman, Nathanial Spencer & Fiancé Marteya Mitchell, and Alysa Spencer; grandparents Charles Twitchell and Louella Audrey Day; nieces and nephews, Amelia Greenman, Silas Greenman, and Isabella Spencer; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Roy was raised in Deposit, NY and graduated from Deposit Central High School in 2005. He was a volunteer with the Hobart Fire Department. He enjoyed skiing and fishing. He was also very artistic and enjoyed doing crafts, including painting and ceramics. Most of all, Roy loved spending time with family especially his nieces and nephews whom he played games with. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY, on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 11am to 1pm.

Interment will take place in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, NY.

Following the visitation there will be a celebration of life and luncheon.
