  Ruth Mae Burdick Of Ulster, PA   Ruth Mae Burdick, 73, of Ulster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Frances Russell, husband William Burdick, Sr. step son Harry Burdick Crockett, step son-in-law Peter Huber an daughter Nancy Burdick, sisters Beverly Russell and Nancy Haberstroh. Ruth is survived by her longtime companion John Decker, sons; Kenneth and Kelly Burdick, Harold Burdick, William and Jennifer Burdick, Jr., and David Burdick; daughters; Ruth Ann and Ronald Sands, Peggy and Ronald Smith, Margaret and Tim Teribury, Donna and Philip Anderson, Bobbie Jo Sharts, Laura and Michael (Shea) Burdick, step-daughter Cathy Huber, her sisters Bernice Russell and Dorothy Gansarski, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and special nieces and nephews Lorenz, Mary and Dawn Haberstroh. Ruth was known to everyone who knew her as “Ma”. She loved every person she ever met and was always smiling. She held many odd jobs over the years, but her favorite job was being a Mother and a Grand/Great-Grand Mother. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12:00pm at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA with Pastor Alex Vosburgh officiating. Burial will be held at the Scott Valley Cemetery, Montdale, PA. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home on Friday from 10am to 12pm The family would like to thank the staff of the Robert Packer Hospital ICU department for the exceptional care and support during the last few days.
