Sally Ann Redington Of Susquehanna, PA With profound sadness the family announces the passing of Sally Ann Redington on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020 at Scranton Regional Hospital at the age of 59 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in the City of Orange, New Jersey on 09/21/1960, Sally was raised in Whippany, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her father George Taylor, and survived by his wife Barbara Taylor. Sally married her beloved husband Christopher Frank Redington on August 10th, 1986 and they relocated to Susquehanna, PA. She was the loving mother to Timothy James Redington, Justin Andrew Redington and Jesse Taylor Redington and cherished sister of the late Elizabeth Garrett (Dave), Deborah Smith (Dave) and Sherrie Christenson (James) and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. Sally graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State College and worked as an Art teacher, but her love for animals led to over a 15 year career at Summit Ridge Biosystems, where she enjoyed her work and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 4:00pm at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive Friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00 to 4:00pm.
