Sarah Ann Burns

Sarah Ann Burns Of Susquehanna, PA       Sarah Ann (Sally) Burns entered eternal rest on March 17, 2017. She is survived by Robert J. Burns (brother); Robert (nephew) and Lori Burns; Rachael Burns (great-niece); and Susan Burns McFadden (niece) and Brian McFadden. Sarah was preceded in death by Eugene and Lillian Burns (parents); Shirley (sister); and Janet (sister-in-law). Sally was a long-time resident of Barnes Kasson SNF, there she loved playing Bingo and enjoyed talking to everyone. She also lived at Residential Care Associates for several years, where she enjoyed setting and clearing the dining room tables. She made friends everywhere she went and never met a person whom she did not charm. The Burns family wishes to thank the hard-working staff of both Residential Care Associates and Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility of Susquehanna for many years of kind and compassionate care Sally received. Their love and dedication over the years is priceless. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Bob Patel and the staff of Barnes Kasson Hospital for her most recent care and the kindness extended to her. Rev. David Cramer will preside over a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, East Church St. Susquehanna, PA at 10am on March 28th, 2017. If desired, a donation may be made in Sally’s memory to Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility, Susquehanna, PA.
