After announcing her retirement last year, she has looked forward to the morning coffee clutch as a way to catch up on the latest gossip, or even just for a quick laugh. Sharon wanted all of her beloved family, friends, and customers to know that she has officially shut down her coffee pot for the very last time. Sharon was offered a new job she just couldn't resist. Her job duties will include overseeing loved ones from afar, while maintaining her social life with past friends and family. Her downtime will still include gardening, baking, crocheting, scrapbooking, and last but not least eating endless amounts of Lays potato chips. Past job duties will now be handled by her husband Arthur (Max) of 56 years, assisted by her daughter Pamela Johnson, husband Tucker of Montague, NJ. Her son Arthur (Frog) Straway, and wife Laura of Ararat PA. As well as her beloved six granddaughters Jaime, Ali and husband James, Brooke, Paige, Tori, Rhea, two great grandsons Jayden and Nicholas, and four granddogs. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She leaves behind countless memories, unforgettable laughs, and shoes her family can only hope to fill. We would like to thank the staff at Barnes Kasson Hospital along with their transport team for all of their care and compassion. They went above and beyond in our time of need.
