Shirley Steigert Mott Silipo Of Susquehanna, PA August 26, 1937- December 28, 2020 Shirley Silipo, 83 of Susquehanna, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 28, 2020. She is predeceased by her parents Raymond & Florence Steigert; sisters Dorothy Sienko (Hallstead, PA) & AnnaMae Hobart (Lanesboro, PA); first Husband LaVern Mott; second husband Dominic Silipo; and son Tony Silipo (Susq, PA). She is survived by her sons and their wives Daniel & Corrine Mott of Windsor, NY, Mark & Theresa Silipo of Winter Garden, FL; daughter Daphne Silipo Cowperthwait & Chris Carver of Susq, PA; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends whom she loved dearly. Shirley started working at Links in her early years then she went to work at Susq. Comm. Elementary School for 30+ years where she worked in several different departments and held several different positions until she retired. Shirley was part of the original Susq. Saber Booster Club serving as President and stayed involved throughout her children’s and grandchildren’s years. She was involved in St. Johns Church, Kattelville Senior Group, Susq. Food Bank, Susq. Library Club, Susq. School Retirees, and Monday Club. She was an avid camper and traveler who was always up for new experiences and causes. She was a supporter and donator to several hometown clubs, organizations and any good cause. Due to Covid Restrictions Spring Services and Interment will be announced at a later time.
