Shirley A. Travis Of Susquehanna, PA Shirley A. Travis, 83 of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Meadow View Nursing Home in Montrose, PA. She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth & Doris (Hurlburt) Lee; husband Marvin Junior Travis; siblings Richard Tadlock, John Tadlock, Rose May, Robert Testa, and Sparky Testa. Shirley is survived by her children Dawn & Keith Meagley, Agustin & Paulette Acosta, Dwayne Acosta, Crystle & Timothy Ross, Lisa & George Depew, and Victor & Shannon Acosta; stepdaughter Theresa Travis; brother Butch & Lillian Lee; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Susquehanna. She worked at Barnes Kasson, Summit Ridge and prior to her retirement she worked at Schneider’s Market. Shirley enjoyed attending yard sales and flea markets, playing Bingo, crocheting, and reading. She was especially fond of her dogs. Most importantly Shirley loved spending time with her family who will miss her dearly. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses and aides at Barnes Kasson Hospital and Meadow View Nursing Home staff (especially for her last Bingo) for their excellent care. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 6pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, from 4 to 6pm.
