Stephen Michael Winans Of Deposit, NY   Stephen Michael Winans, 66, of Deposit passed away Friday, November 1, 2019. Stephen was predeceased by his father, Frederick DeWitt Winans. Stephen is survived by his mother, Daughn Marie (Lockwood) Winans; his girlfriend, Susan Taylor; brothers Richard (Victoria) Winans, Joseph (Amanda) Winans; sister Mindy Mills; Sons, David Winans, Stephen (Elizabeth) Winans, Benjamin Winans and Jaden Winans; daughter Morgan (Brandon) Clapperton; grandchildren Keegan, Kendall, Nolan, Amelia, Skylar, Isabella and Layla; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and his dear friends Rick & Dodi Williams, Steve & Cathy Depew. Steve enjoyed fishing, traveling and his classic cars, rebuilding old cars, and his love of his 1985 Buick Grand National. He worked in the family Stone Quarry Business. He also constructed his own home back in the woods with a pond and later built a cabin and landscaped with beautiful flowers and bushes. He was considered a jack of all trades with a good sense of humor and greatly enjoyed spending time on his porch with family & the family dog, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY with Pastor Ed Honratch and Dale Winans officiating. Burial will be at McClure Cemetery in McClure, Deposit, NY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
