Susan Ann Shay

Susan Ann Shay, 68,  born on April 20, 1957, in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna. 

Throughout her career, Susan worked most of her life at Felchar Manufacturing until her retirement. Her commitment and hard work were greatly respected by her colleagues and friends alike. She had a strong sense of responsibility and pride in her work, which reflected her character.

Susan received her education at Susquehanna Community High School, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her time in education instilled in her a love for learning and personal development.

Known for her nurturing spirit, Susan had an immense passion for sewing and cooking. 

Susan is survived by her loving companion, Jeffery Heller; her son, John Blackington; her sisters, Dorene Murphy and Darlene Mallery; her granddaughter, Marisa; her grandson, Derek; and many nieces and nephews who cherished her.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Snyder, and her mother, Arline (June) Snyder.

At Susan's request there will be funeral services.
